This impromptu performance took place at the wedding reception of Lisa Narodick and (Dionysian Productions’) Jason Colton. Phish used the instruments of the reception band Brave Combo. Loving Cup was a request of the bride. This was the first known Phish performance in 420 days and the only known performance by all the members of Phish together during the hiatus.

hughie46 a tight and elaborate machine of a wolfmans is enough to do a phan right, but, IMO, the loving cup is the real mcCoy of 12/01/2001. a rollercoaster with boundless climbs, gut wrenching twists, and riveting swoops, phish sure piloted those at the swissotel to cosmic realms far beyond our stratosphere.

plants I'd go ahead and say this is Phish at their peak. The second set Tweezer > Sexual Healing, god... it really doesn't get any better than that.

There must have been something in the water that night. Fishman and Mike held the low end like no other duo could, while Trey and Page shot off into instrumentational interstellar space.

Shows like this... are why people see Phish.
