Ya Mar included Express Yourself (Charles Wright & the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band) teases from Mike. Antelope contained a Curtis Loew tease from Trey and Manteca teases from Trey and Page. A fan ran across the stage during Tweezer Reprise.

shonebarger Doopes. Sorry man, that Tweezer Reprise was not at all out of left field. They opened the first night at Bethel with a Tweezer and since they did not encore with Tweeprise that night, it was entirely predictable that Tweeprise would be the Bethel-stand closer.

Strom518 Loved all of the shows from the weekend and I could go on about almost all of the songs from this evening. I just wanted to say that even though Joy is not one of my favorite songs, it was a great moment for me. When Trey sang "this is your song" everyone in my section on the lawn was sitting and singing "THIS IS YOUR SONG TOO!" back to him so loud and it was a beautiful moment for me.

Review by Doopes

Doopes This was my 1st show of this summer... loved it!
1st set kicked it off right! Love the AcDc opener, Rift is always good, Tiber was really good,
The Suzy was a super high point, lots of energy!!!
Curtis Loew is always a rare treat to hear and the Antelope was a killer ending to a great set!!

2Nd set was off to a great start with the Mikes Weekapaug combo, tons of fun as usual, Meatstick is a fun jam to hear and the boys always have fun with it so it's nice to see that!!
Fluffhead was off the charts good, I really thought they did it right, Joy came a a good time to chill everyone out for a second and then they did me right..... 2001!!!! I've missed how much fun this jam really is, haven't gotten one since summer of 2000 (i think) and it was much needed, the Light was full of energy as well
Slave was beautiful... just friggen beautiful
Loving Cup was quazi predictable, always a good encore but then they smacked us all in the face with a totally out of left field TWEEPRIZE!!! now that's how you end a show!!

Super fun, really good, wish I made the first 2 nights because everyone I talked to said they were awesome as well!!!

Review by Campster

Campster Night 3 of Bethel. After two stellar shows filled with jamming Phish put on a perfectly rocking closer, without hitting the highs of the previous two shows.

This venue and run remains perhaps my favorite. I hope the go back someday. The previous night was perfection and we headed back to camp and caught Marco Benevento post show....Awesome!

So on to night three.

Set one kicked in with Bag. Nice version, fun opener, and we had a great spot on the lawn to enjoy this one.

Sample was fine here and kept the energy up.

Rift is always fun to hear and this version was half decent, especially considering how they've struggled with it in the 3.0 years.

Ocelot was pleasant for me, sort of fit the semi-tired vibe of the third night of a three day run, and contained some adequate jamming. Not exceptional, but pleasant.

Ya Mar was great although very short. I love this song in the summer, and it fit the breezy vibe.

Timber was fantastic to catch. I love this song, and Fishman banging those toms is always great. Nice version.

OKP>Suzy was rocking. Page was an destroying the keys and from my recollection 2011 Suzy's were all absolutely rocking.

46 Days>20 Years Later were both a nice dose of darkness after the upbeat selections.

Curtis Loew was a nice rare treat. They played this great!

Antelope whipped everyone up and this version brought a pretty energetic finale to a fun set.

Overall set I: Nothing in comparison to the first two nights from a jam standpoint. This was a fun rocking Phish set. No more, no less.
Highlights: Curtis Loew

Set 2 opened with Mike's - so everyone was praying for the second jam (per usual). Not to be, but still a good energetic way to open the set.

They popped into Simple on the back-end and this one managed to get spacey towards the end, but just as it felt as though they were going to open it up they popped into

->'Paug. This one was fun, but unremarkable.

Meatstick was meatstick - no shortage of smiles.

Fluffhead is always a treat and was a good addition to a song based show.

Joy came in for the ballad slot. It's not my favorite.

2001 brought the energy back up and was definitely nice to hear this late into the set.

Light brought back the promise of some improv, but this version didn't really end up doing all that much. They still gave it a good go.

Slave was powerful. I've seen better versions since, but you'll never forget your first. ;)

Encore: Loving Cup>Tweeprise brought the house down and took us full circle from night 1's opening song.

Overall SetII: After the first couple nights I was thinking rock and roll show. They delivered on that front and I thought the song selection was actually pretty good. Mike's Groove, Fluff, 2001, Slave were all welcome albeit standard.
Highlights: The Simple was interesting, but not a must have.

Overall show: This one was a night 3 rock show that had some good energetic playing, nice song choices in both sets, and fit the bill as a send-off from beautiful Bethel. I could complain, but I'd just say standard. After the first two nights though, nary a soul would be frowning.
2.5/5 lower-middle of the road.
